This policy covers soccertrivia.com.au, operated by Nickon Enterprises Pty Ltd. It is written to be read rather than to be survived, and it describes what actually happens on this site.
What we collect
When you register interest. The registration and enquiry forms ask for a name, an email address, a phone number, and — for clubs — the club and association you represent, plus whatever you choose to write in the notes. Nothing else on those forms is required.
When you simply read. Our host records standard server logs: IP address, browser, the pages requested and when. Those logs exist for security and for keeping the site up.
We do not ask for payment details anywhere on this site. There is no checkout, and entry to the competition is free, so there is nothing to pay. Sponsorship agreements are handled directly and outside the website.
What we do with it
We use what you send us to answer you, to size the event, to send you the date when it exists, and to invoice you if you go ahead. That is the whole list.
We do not sell your details. We do not pass them to sponsors, venues or anyone else. A partner may be told how many clubs are coming; they are never told who you are without your agreement.
Registering interest means we will email you about this competition. Every email we send has an unsubscribe in it, and asking us to stop by reply works just as well.
Cookies and measurement
See the cookie policy for the detail. In short: the site sets what it needs to function, and we do not run advertising trackers on the library.
Who else touches your data
Our web host stores the site and its logs. Our email provider carries messages to and from you. Both are ordinary commercial suppliers acting on our instructions, and neither is licensed to use your details for their own purposes.
How long we keep it
Registrations are kept while the competition is running and for as long as our records obligations require afterwards. If you tell us you are out and want your details gone, we delete them.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and ask us to delete it. Email info@soccerchannel.com.au and we will act on it. Under the Australian Privacy Principles you may also complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner if you think we have mishandled your information, and we would rather you told us first so we can fix it.
Children
The library is written to be readable by anyone. We do not knowingly collect registration details from children — a club registers a table, and an adult at the club does that.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the change will be described here rather than slipped in. Last updated 2026.
